We understand the pressures that come with being a Mum and running a small business. We know:
We have embraced working from home with online technology which means that we can work around family and save money on office space and you can get high quality legal services for affordable prices.
We have an intimate knowledge of the types of legal issues that you may come across because we are entrepreneurs and experienced business lawyers, and, as far as we know, we are the only business lawyers specifically for Mumpreneurs in Australia. Our Founder has a wealth of legal experience gained from working at some of the worlds top law firms and companies, and also from working closely with many small businesses at the startup stage, whilst they have grown, and with some as they have developed a franchising model.
An example of some of the businesses we have worked with include Pony Design, Maggie Moo, Inoutside, Forever Design, The Exposure Co, Re/Solve, Deliver My Yachts, Women Bouncebak, Signature Shutters and Blinds, Bungee Fitness Australia; and there are many many more.

Hi, I'm Davina, and I love helping Mums with legal solutions for their businesses.
I have a wealth of legal experience gained from working not just as a business lawyer at some of the worlds top law firms and companies, but also through working in litigation. That means I have a head start in knowing what sort of issues can end up in court, and how to draft agreements so that they best protect you.
Becoming a Mum changed me; I suddenly wanted to live a life where I could plan my legal work around my new family, not my family around work. I was also frustrated with the way lawyers were billing clients, how Mums had no choice but to take their kids into appointments, and the reluctance for change and embracing technology in the legal industry. So, The Mumpreneur Lawyer was born. Embarking on my own journey in setting up a small business also changed me; now I have more empathy than ever for the challenges faced by small business owners. My business enables me to help Mums in a similar situation setting up businesses, that don’t have any legal knowledge and don’t have their legal position protected. This brings me huge satisfaction and joy.
Now, I can't wait to hear about you and why you started your business!

"Davina was beyond amazing helping us through a complex and challenging situation. She was fantastic, knowledgeable and explained everything so clearly. I would highly recommend her."
-Carolyn Duggan, Mum of three little ones
"Davina represented me in an intellectual property matter and provided me with the right advice and guidance through an unfamiliar process. She is a highly skilled negotiator and was easy to communicate with. Davina really worked hard to get the best agreement for me and I would not have achieved this result without her. I was very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend her services."
- Margie Cartisano, Entrepreneur
"It has been great working with Davina and such a relief to know we have our very own go-to person for all of our legal requirements. Her legal knowledge and experience has also opened our eyes to many aspects of our business that we had no idea about which has been very helpful in informing our decision making.
